‘Enjoy the gift of Nature‘ Chateau Kalpak unique terroir is reflected in a deep flavours and aromas exhibited in each bottle, main goal is to find best harmony of four varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot.
Chateau Kalpak winery and vineyards are located at the base of Gallipoli peninsula of the Thrace, produced from a Single Vineyard, predominantly gravel and limestone this exceptional terroir is exposed to both Sea of Marmara and Aegean Sea. This 2016 vintage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot-Cabernet Franc-Petit Verdot. Aged for 36 months in a barriques, bottled with no filtration. Dark ruby colour, on the nose beautifully complex oak, chocolate, pepper, leather, vanilla, black fruits aromas. It is medium bodied with mouth watering acidity and very pleasant tannins. It will age well.
