Chamlija Blanc de Noirs Papaskarsi is a unique white wine produced from the indigenous Turkish red grape Papaskarasi grown in Türkiye’s Thrace region, often compared to a light champagne without bubbles and sometimes with subtle oak aging “Fume “adding complexity like vanilla & butter. In a few words exotic, distinctive, intriguing and different.
Youthful straw colour with a subtle copper hue. An exotic, spicy nose showing pepper, cardamon, lemongrass and orange zest. Medium- bodied showing a gentle tannic backbone, nicely lifted acidity, youthful white-fleshed fruit and refined, lingering finish.
