An elegant Turkish Cabernet Franc with floral and fruity aromas of plums, violets, and pepper. The palate is balanced, smooth, and rich with a spicy finish.
Intense dark purple. Floral nose with violet, crushed dark berries, cassis and dark cherry with spicy notes of sage, bay leaf and tobacco and fine oak. The palate is dense and weighty but with a modest extraction, ripe tannin, and a super fresh backbone, layers of ripe dark fruit, nuanced yet intense flavours with spicy aniseed and sage notes. Very long, polished and persistent finish. Modern, vibrant and savoury, just opening up and should age for a very long time. Perfect for aging.
Food pairing: Ideal with grilled steak, wild mushrooms, and aged cheese.
