This wine is made from Türkiye’s oldest grape called – Papaskarasi, it is wonderfully balanced, light to medium bodied with round tannins, spices and rich fruits aromas.
This Turkish red wine is called Kara Sevda ‘Blind Love’ is made from Turkish grape – Papskarasi which means ‘the priest black’. This great Turkish grape- Papaskarasi has a medium deep ruby colour, intense nose, smoky with sweet red fruit, dry spices and tobacco. It is medium bodied with a youthful texture, present but tamed tannins, red fruit flavours with bold spiciness, pepper and liquorice notes underline by fresh acidity, leading to a long finish. On the nose it has a floral hint with herbal undertones (100% whole bunch being fermented). This wine is complex with a great structure yet medium weight and soft tannins. It will go very well with spicy food.
