This wine is made from Turkey’s oldest grape called – Papaskarasi – which means ‘the priest black‘. This bottle is a dedication to Marcel Biron for his outstanding work towards development of Papaskarasi grape in Türkiye. This wine is named after Marcel Biron- French viticulturalist who helped to revitalise Turkish wine industry, thanks to him Papaskarasi grape was added to list of ‘noble wine grapes’ in 1948. It has dense dark colour with purple hue. On the nose very fragrant aromas of white pepper, clove, ginger, ripe red fruits. On the palate very fresh with layers of finely spicy fruits, well integrated oak, good density, seductive red fruits notes and long supple finish. Very well made wine with huge acidity yet so velvety. Tested by Andreas Larsson.
