A Winemaking Tradition Older Than France or Italy
Türkiye is one of the oldest wine-producing regions in the world-going back over 6,000 years. The country’s diverse geography, ancient soils, and microclimates make it natural home for quality grape growing. Yet, Turkish wines have only recently begun their mark internationally. At the heart of this revival are small passionate producers like Chamlija, Chateau Kalpak and Gurbuz, combining old-world techniques with modern precision.

Kaleci Karasi– smooth and fruity, often used in elegant reds and roses
Narince- a native white grape producing fresh, floral wines with citrus and mineral notes.

Where It’s grown-The Thrace Region
Many of our wines come form Thrace, northwest Türkiye near Bulgarian border. This region has a cooler climate, similar to part of Burgundy or northern Italy, which allows grapes to ripen slowly and develop great balance and complexity. Winemaker Mustafa Camlica, founder of Chamlija Wines has helped put Thrace on a global wine map, winning numerous international awards while championing native grapes.
