This red wine is a blend of Kalecik Karasi native Turkish grapes and a touch of Merlot. Chateau Kalpak vineyard is located at the base of Gallipoli. This exceptional territory reflects on Kalecik Karasi vivacity red fruits and elegant tannins. It is aged for 18 months in a new barrique. This Turkish red wine is bottled with no filtration. On the nose it has strong earthy aromas, rose petals and sweet spices, on the palate is well- rounded with flavours of plums, blackberries, raspberries, vanilla, hint of tobacco and liquor. It has an elegant tannins and long finish.
