Gurbuz Wines

Akin Gurbuz is a wine maker and wine consultant for several prestigious wineries in Turkey. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Viticulture and Enology from the University of California where he worked in several wineries and New Zealand, but eventually returned to his native Turkey. Luckily in 2015, Akin build his own winery Gurbuz Gida AS that is focusing on production of premium Turkish wines. He is a judge of International Wine Challenge Competition in London. He regularly attends wine competitions, symposiums, wine tastings, and wine education events around the world. He organize and gives local and international seminars about vineyard, management and winemaking.. He is a founder of Winemakers of the Thrace group and one of the founders of Turkish Wine Bloggers group.

Akins aims and goals are sustainable, organic and biodynamic practices in grape growing and winemaking. He is a strong supporter in clustering in the wine business.

The winery produce only couple of hundreds best quality vintages which are in very high demand, we personally are very much funs of Akin’s wines.
